Schollmeyer & Steidl Legal has several experienced consultants: the two namesakes and founders of the firm, Daniel Schollmeyer, Ina Steidl and also Dr. Barbara von Rohr, Dr. Eva-Maria Emsinghoff , Dr. Julia B. As trained attorneys and business coaches, we can look back upon years of relevant professional experience at well-known law firms and corporates in Frankfurt, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Munich in various fields of Business and law.

Daniel Schollmeyer, LL.M.

Daniel Schollmeyer is senior partner at Schollmeyer & Steidl. In 2006 he co-founded the legal recruitment company Schollmeyer & Steidl.

Ina Steidl, LL.M.

Ina Steidl, LL.M.

Ina Steidl is managing partner. She studied law at Humboldt University in Berlin, as well as at LSE in London and the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. She completed her internship (Referendariat) in Berlin and in Los Angeles, USA. After her second state examination, she worked for one year at a specialized Berlin law firm, where she practiced corporate, building and civil procedure law.

In autumn 2000, she went to Bristol, Great Britain, to study for her LL.M, after which she began working at Linklaters Oppenhoff & Radler (now: Linklaters) in Frankfurt. She worked at that firm (in the end as Managing Associate) in the areas of corporate and banking law until April 2005, 6 months of which she was assigned to the firm's Moscow office.

In June 2005, Ina Steidl became a consultant in the legal division of a UK-based listed recruitment company. There she was responsible for consulting both law firms and in-house clients, which consisted primarily of banks, insurance companies and financial services companies.

In 2006, she founded Schollmeyer & Steidl together with Daniel Schollmeyer and has served as managing director since then. She is specialized in advising Partners and Teams on finding the suitable law firm.

 

Dr. Barbara von Rohr

Dr. Barbara von Rohr

Barbara von Rohr is a partner and a fully qualified German lawyer trained at the Universities of Würzburg, Bonn and Kiel (Germany), as well as Lausanne (Switzerland). As scholar of "Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft" Barbara obtained a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Kiel - she composed her Ph.D. thesis as a research scholar at Cornell Law School in Ithaca, NY.

After her internship (Referendarzeit) in Hamburg (Germany), she joined Clifford Chance, Frankfurt in 1998. Initially starting her activity in the area of environmental law, she soon placed her focus on corporate law / M&A. After a parental leave and a 3 year period in Brussels (Belgium), she worked in Clifford Chance's Private Equity Team until joining Schollmeyer & Steidl in February 2007. Since January 2010 she is a partner of the firm.  

The opportunity to leverage her experience as a lawyer and to simultaneously place the human factor as a driving force in the corporate environment into the center of her work, creates the professional challenge that Barbara was looking for.

 

Dr. Eva-Maria Emsinghoff

Dr. Eva-Maria Emsinghoff

Eva-Maria Emsinghoff is a manager in the the law firm recruitment team at Schollmeyer & Steidl. She studied law at the universities of Trier, Nancy (France) and Cologne. Following her studies, she received her doctoral degree from the university of Cologne. During her internship (Referendariat) in Cologne and Bristol (England), she worked with the international law firm Osborne Clarke.

Eva-Maria Emsinghoff started her career as an attorney in December 2008 in the intellectual property department of the international law firm Simmons & Simmons in Düsseldorf. Her work was mainly focused on trademark and unfair competition law.  

In July 2010, Eva-Maria Emsinghoff became a consultant at Schollmeyer & Steidl in Cologne and Dusseldorf. Since 2018 she is a manager, responsible for the cologne office management.

She advises international law firms and inhouse-clients, as well as candidates, and focuses on the legal market in the Ruhr area and Rhineland.

 

Dr. Julia B. List, LL.M.

Dr. Julia B. List, LL.M.

Dr. Julia B. List is a senior consultant for law firm and patent law firm recruitment at Schollmeyer & Steidl. She is a fully qualified German lawyer trained at the Universitiy of Freiburg. She completed her internship (Referendariat) in Freiburg and Frankfurt and after her second state examination she went on to complete an LL.M program at the University of Sydney (Australia) and Shanghai (China). Following her studies, she received her doctor's degree at the University of Hamburg.

She started her legal career as a solicitor for England and Wales during her licensing procedure. She then worked for a leading law firm in the area of financial law.

Dr. Julia B. List joined Schollmeyer & Steidl as a consultant in summer 2014. She is responsible for consulting candidates as well as law firms and in-house clients in the southern part of Germany. Furthermore, she is responsible for the German-wide patent law department.

 

Debora Satta, LL.M.

Debora Satta, LL.M.

Debora Satta is a manager in Schollmeyer & Steidl’s in-house recruitment team. She studied law at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, as well as at the University of Pisa (Italy). She completed her internship (Referendariat) in Frankfurt and in New York, USA. She then undertook an LL.M. at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt.

After her second state examination, she worked for two years in the legal department of Commerzbank AG, where she practised banking and capital markets law. 

In November 2013, Debora Satta became a consultant for an international recruiting consultancy, where she recruited lawyers primarily for banks and other companies. 

In November 2014, she joined Schollmeyer & Steidl in Frankfurt as a consultant. She focuses on in-house recruitment and is responsible for consulting clients and candidates at all levels of seniority.

Fee Rahel Schlaegel

Fee Rahel Schlaegel

Fee Rahel Schlaegel is a senior consultant for law firm recruitment at Schollmeyer & Steidl. She studied law at the University of Cologne. After her legal clerkship, she worked as a lawyer on a national and international basis, focusing on IT and the start-up industry.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, she has also worked as a freelance journalist for well-known legal publishers. While interviewing legal experts for the business magazine „unternehmensjurist“, she developed a special interest in career planning and emerging job opportunities.

In 2018 Fee Rahel Schlaegel joined the legal team of Schollmeyer & Steidl. She focuses on advising law firms and candidates in the Berlin legal market and the Düsseldorf area.

Marvin Grätsch

Marvin Grätsch

Marvin Grätsch is a junior consultant / research consultant at Schollmeyer & Steidl in the Legal Recruitment team. He studied psychology at the Technische Universität Darmstadt, focusing mainly on economic and personnel psychology.

During his studies, he pursued internships in Human Resources and gained experience while recruiting for an international project for the German department of a French outsourcing company.

Zlatan Kekic

Zlatan Kekic

Zlatan Kekic is a consultant at Schollmeyer & Steidl. He studied law in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Heidelberg. After completing his studies, he undertook an LL.M. course at the Ruprecht-Karls University in Heidelberg, which he successfully completed in 2016.

Subsequently, he worked as a lawyer and recruiter for a Berlin Start-Up where he was the first point of contact for legal and personnel matters for over 3 years.

In 2019, Zlatan Kekic joined Schollmeyer & Steidl in Frankfurt as a consultant. He focuses on in-house recruitment and is responsible for consulting clients and candidates from different seniorities across Germany, particularly in West and North Germany.

Amanda Zaich-Wallis

Amanda Zaich-Wallis is a consultant for law firm recruitment at Schollmeyer & Steidl. She studied German and Philosophy in Great Britain before deciding to study law and become a UK qualified solicitor. She spent 6 months of her legal traineeship at Linklaters in Frankfurt.

Mrs. Zaich-Wallis started her legal career at Linklaters in London in the area of Structured Finance in 2004. After that she worked for various international Recruitment companies in London and Frankfurt, focusing mainly on recruiting for law firms.

She joined Schollmeyer & Steidl as a consultant at the beginning of 2020. She is responsible for consulting junior to senior associates for law firms in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main area.

Maximilian Seibel

Maximilian Seibel

Maximilian Seibel is Head of Operations at Schollmeyer & Steidl and responsible for internal operational processes and procedures. He will be happy to answer your initial questions and direct you to the suitable consultant.

Mr. Seibel studied economics at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. During his studies he found his way into a career in executive search and worked for more than 10 years for various consulting companies. His focus was on filling management positions in industrial companies and consulting firms. Before joining Schollmeyer & Steidl he was responsible for the German-wide project management of a leading international executive search company.
